SHOP NOWCeline was founded in Paris in 1945 by Céline Vipiana as a made-to-measure children's shoe brand, before evolving under a series of creative directors into one of fashion's most referenced houses. Hedi Slimane's 2018 appointment reintroduced the Triomphe — the interlocking arc monogram from the 1970s — as the defining hardware across eyewear, anchoring each frame in the house's archival identity rather than seasonal trend. The result is acetate construction with the Triomphe set at the temple, producing frames that read as a deliberate wardrobe decision rather than an accessory afterthought.

SHOP NOWThe Celine customer doesn't dress to be noticed — they dress so that the right people notice. These frames belong in a wardrobe built around Breton stripes, tailored coats, and the discipline of buying less but buying right.
The interlocking arc monogram was retrieved from Celine's 1970s archival DNA — which means every frame carries a reference point, not a logo applied for marketing effect.
Celine's acetate frames sit heavier than average, which translates to a stability on the face that thinner injected-plastic frames cannot replicate — you feel the quality before you see it.
Hedi Slimane consistently designs eyewear with a proportional discipline that makes frames photograph sharply and wear cleanly — each silhouette is resolved, never fussy.
